West Virginia natives Chelsea Fisher & Nicholas Burdette met at Ripley Middle School when they were 11 years old.

They were assigned to sit across from each other during lunch and became good friends. When they graduated from high school, they went their separate ways. However, in the summer of 2014, they reunited during their senior year of college. Since Nicholas was no longer dating his high school sweetheart, Chelsea asked him out on a date, and they have been inseparable since.

When it was time to pop the question, Nicholas took Chelsea to their favorite bonfire spot, the place where they had their first date. While sitting on the tailgate of Nicholas’ truck, they listened to their favorite songs. Soon he was down on one knee, crying, and professing all the reasons why he loved her. With much joy and love, Chelsea began to cry and said yes.

The couple married at The Maylon House in Milton. The bride wore a Stella York, ivory A-line gown with a plunging neckline made of tulle with lace pieces and beads scattered around the skirt and train. She completed her look with a half-inch Diamante-encrusted grosgrain ribbon belt.

The bridesmaids wore sleeveless blush cocktail dresses with a crochet pattern over the dress and rose gold belts with rhinestones. The groom and groomsmen wore slim black tuxedos and champagne blush bow ties.

The flower arrangements included antique and quicksand roses, dusty pink roses, antique and ivory hydrangeas, seeded eucalyptus greenery, hypericum green flowers, and more.

The couple exchanged traditional vows and had a wine unity ceremony after the ring exchange.

The wedding cake boasted four tiers of chocolate, white, and white raspberry filling and was adorned with decorative fondant flowers airbrushed with rose gold and gold glitter. Guests went home with wildflower seed paper confetti hearts.

The couple honeymooned at Catalonia Royal Tulum Resort in Cancun, Mexico.
