[line] [dropcap]T[/dropcap]he pride and genuine love associated with the state of West Virginia is contagious. Our state is full of diehard Mountaineer fans. If you and your fiancé share a passion for West Virginia University, there are plenty of ways to showcase that in your wedding! From WVU-inspired engagement photos to the garters and even the cake topper, you can find unique and cute ways to celebrate the old gold and blue. To dress up the wedding party, have the bridesmaids in navy dresses and carrying sunflower bouquets while groomsmen wear navy and yellow ties.  You can even spice up your gown by wearing a blue sash or gold heels. If you’re going for more of a rustic “Country Roads” wedding, you can have painted or non-painted mason jars on the tables in the reception area filled with flowers or candles. And of course you showcase Mountain State traditions, such as serving pepperoni rolls and setting up corn hole for the guests to play. Maybe even serve the famous Flying WV cookies! Head over to our Pinterest board to see even more inspiration.
