  • The bride, Kayja's, late grandmother—that she was very close with—loved frogs. And they loved her. Anytime Kayja and her family saw frogs they knew it was their grandmother sending them good wishes. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
"When I saw this little guy, I hadn't yet heard about the frog story. He did NOT want to sit on my hand or be my friend, but as soon as he found Kayja's palm he settled, relaxed, and I thought he would be there for the rest of the day.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
That's when Kayja told us about her grandmother, and it all made sense. Her grandmother was sending a little frog to her beloved granddaughter on her wedding day and I was lucky enough to be with her when it happened and to document the experience."⁣ 🐸

  • All of these hands are mothers and grandmothers in the bride’s family that have had happy, long, successful marriages. 💍⁣

What a great photo that will be loved and cherished for many years to come. ⁣
